Cross country skiers will not miss out in Filzmoos either. The high altitude cross country track with 16 km on the Rossbrand mountain is easily accessible with the Papageno cablecar. Skigebiete-test.de has awared Filzmoos "TOP skia area" in the category "skiareas with up to 20 kilometers".

At the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein there is the viewing platform "Talblick" with a magnificent view northwards over Bad Hofgastein.
