Talstation Achterjet

Für Genießer ist allerdings Zweiteres, das Bauernladenstüberl ein heißer Tipp: Denn dort gibt es nachweislich den besten Käse Österreichs. Im Sommer 2018 gewann Familie Aichhorn („Kreebauer“) vom Bauernladenstüberl mit der Genusskrone die höchste und nur alle 2 Jahre vergebene Auszeichnung aller Direktvermarkter des Landes für den besten Schnittkäse Österreichs 2018 und 2019. Diesen Gaumenschmaus sollte man sich keinesfalls entgehen lassen.

A marvellous mountain backdrop and great views to the Dachstein – the Kaiblingalm is probably one of the most beautiful spots of all Styrian ski resorts. Easy to reach by the Alm 6er chairlift, one of Austria’s most modern and comfortable chairlifts: it is detachable, equipped with orange protection covers (“bubbles”), and has heated leather seats. Its base station is at 1,600 m, taking you up to an elevation of 1,950 m.

The BIKE world provides you with support at the highest level:

• On-site bike service
• Bike shop

Only e-bikes are rent, from 20 "children's bicycles to hardtails (only suspension fork), fullys (fully suspended) and hardtails with a low step-through. Of course, it is also possible to rent a trailer from Thule (Chariot) with it nothing stands in the way of a family trip with the little ones.

Pump it:
Visit the mountain bike skills area in Kleinarl directly at our location with a new pump track and riding technique exercises for all skill levels. Here you can learn the necessary technique in a playful way to ride the trails safely.

Flying in the beautiful Grossarl Valley

Paragliding is by no means limited to the warm seasons. Especially in winter there are flights in the Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area where you can glide down the valley with us on snow-covered ski slopes. The cable car takes us directly to the starting point.

The Hotel Pariente is located directly on the piste in the Hochwurzen ski area and is therefore the ideal stopover for skiers to rest and recharge their batteries in our restaurant with sun terrace. Unbuckle your skis on our doorstep and enjoy the benefits of our à la carte restaurant. We score with seasonal and regional dishes.
