The name of the region is written in capital letters on a wooden structure on the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein. Winterkleidung angezogen, gutes Schuhwerk mitgenommen, den Schlitten eingepackt und auf geht’s zu einer zünftigen Rodelpartie. Ob bei Tag oder Nacht, Rodeln ist vielleicht das aufregendste, geselligste und unterhaltsamste Wintervergnügen schlechthin. Die 2,5 km lange hauseigene Rodelbahn der Bellevue Alm in Bad Gastein garantiert Spaß für die ganze Familie.

Insgesamt 16 Skitouren, Steilabfahrten und Übergänge können von Ramsau am Dachstein bzw. ab der Bergstation der Dachstein Gletscherbahn befahren werden. Darunter auch Österreichs National-Skitour, die Dachsteinüberquerung nach Hallstatt. Diese Tour zählt zu den beliebtesten Touren in den Alpen und sind nicht allzu schwer. Auf einer 25 Kilometer langen Route von den Gipfelregionen des Dachsteins über die Simonyhütte und Gjaidalm führt die Tour hinab zum 2.000 m tiefer gelegenen Hallstätter See.
