Ski amadé from A to Z

Built in 2010 according to plans by Kuehn Malvezzi, it is located right next to the meadows where the horses of the Wetzlgut graze in summer, hence the name »Rossalm«. We fulfill our wish to cook “everyone’s favorite dish” with a fine selection of seasonal delicacies with regionally sustainably produced basic products.

In winter we serve Austrian delicacies for lunch. In the evening we will be happy to spoil you with a candle light dinner! The Rossalm is excellent with a fork in the Falstaff! And thanks to our guests, we have received the "Certificate of Excellence 2016" from TripAdvisor through numerous positive reviews. We would like to thank all guests who have made us this success!

• one is situated in Alpendorf (only open during winter months)
• one is situated in the city centre of Sankt Johann

Sport Wielandner is a family run specilist shop which offers premium quality products for many sports like skiing, snowboarding, running, tennis etc.

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! Mit dem Postbus, Skibus oder Auto geht es bis nach Hüttschlag und weiter in den malerischen Talschluss. Ruhe und Stille bestimmen hier am Eingang zum Nationalpark Hohe Tauern das Tempo. Am gemütlichsten geht´s mit der Pferdekutsche weiter (Anmeldung erforderlich) oder man spaziert zu Fuß die 2 km durch die tief verschneite Winterlandschaft vorbei an einem Wildgehege bis hin zum Ötzlsee. Zurück zum Parkplatz am selben Weg.

No winter holiday is complete without trying an exciting toboggan ride, which is sure to bring back some fond childhood memories! What could be more beautiful, after all, than hurtling down the snowy winter landscape through the forest and into the valley?

The 2.5-kilometre long natural toboggan run is ideally maintained. Night owls will also be able to have their fun – with the toboggan run and walking route lit in the evening!

In the land of Kaiserschmarrn and Wiener Schnitzel, culinary art plays a special role. In the Wachtelhof, guests are served Austrian fusion cuisine that allows them to rediscover childhood memories. In summer and winter the chef seduces his guests with a multi-course menu.
