Ski amadé from A to Z

Skitouren gehen wird immer populärer. Nicht unbedingt im freien Gelände, sondern auch auf ganz normalen Skipisten. Aus diesem Grund gibt es in Gastein die so genannten Skitouren Abende. Jeweils Mittwoch und Freitag ist die Graukogelhütte, und jeden Donnerstag die Stubneralm bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Die Pistenpräparierung findet erst danach statt. Zusätzlich haben diese beiden Hütten auch in den Vollmondnächten geöffnet. Wer aber das Abenteuer sucht, dem raten wir, sich mit einem unserer best ausgebildetsten Skiführer in Verbindung zu setzen

From summer 2023, Austria's first swing park awaits you at Gabühel! Two spectacular waterfall swings, four more swings and a playground area with more than 600 m² invite you to linger.
The Gabühel cable car in Dienten and the Hochmais cable car in Hinterthal take you child-safe and comfortably to the swing paradise.

At the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein there is the viewing platform "Talblick" with a magnificent view northwards over Bad Hofgastein. This further point of attraction and place to stay for our guests is located below the transmitter and is also a popular highlight in winter. Whether pedestrian or skier, the Talblick is worth a visit in any case.

Mit gültigem Skipass und entsprechender Skiausrüstung fahren Wintersportler mit dem Skibus kostenlos im Gasteinertal von ihren Unterkünften direkt bis zu den Talstationen der Skigebiete. Somit erreichen Sie nicht nur ganz einfach die Skigebiete Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel, Graukogel und Dorfgastein-Großarl, sondern auch das abwechslungsreiche Freeride-Gebiet Sportgastein, sodass Sie schnellstmöglich mit den Liften und Bergbahnen zum Gipfel gelangen und die abwechslungsreichen Ski-Abfahrten genießen können. The Schoarlhütte is located in the middle of the "World Cup Downhill". It offers a wonderful view of the Dachstein massif and is one of the alpine ski huts on the Hauser Kaibling.

At the Schoarlhütte, a good mood and a great atmosphere are very important – the landlords take care of that personally. Whether on the sheltered sun terrace, on the nail stick or in the rustic hut, everyone will find their place here.
