Our restaurant Tennestadl, which opened in 2016 and has 96 seats inside and 60 seats on the west-facing terrace, is located directly in the Hohenhaus Tenne, yet shielded from the hype. The ‘Alte Stadl’, the charming ski and alpine hut of the Familienhotel Austria, is located in the middle of the fantastic mountain world of the Schladminger Tauern in Styria right next to our hotel and at the valley station of the Hochwurzen summit lift and is easily accessible by car. Let us spoil you with regional cuisine in the pleasant ambience of the Stadl. Sit together comfortably, enjoy local delicacies and talk about God and the world - our ‘Alter Stadl’ offers the perfect place for this with its rustic and cosy atmosphere.

Snowshoe hike in the direction of Hirschgrubenalm in Hüttschlag.

From the Oberneureit farm in Hüttschlag, snowshoe uphill along the goods road or along a forest path towards the Hirschgrubenalm (not open in winter). The tour ends shortly before the Hirschgrubenalm due to a game reserve. The Hirschgrubenalm is located in a wide basin in a marvellous mountain landscape - back along the same route.

After the tour you can fortify yourself in the Aschaustüberl.
