The name of the region is written in capital letters on a wooden structure on the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein. The approximately 3-metre-high lettering not only serves as an eye-catcher and photo opportunity, but also as a place to sit on the mountain. On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! At the Gamskogel II mountain station at 2,106 metres, you are right in front of the impressively steep start slope of the Zauchensee World Cup course. The mascot ‘Zauchi’ is a popular photo motif, and with the photo point you can capture your holiday memories without anyone being missing from the picture! For lovers, there is a ‘love heart’ where you can immortalise yourself with a ‘love lock’. You will also find the Gamskogel checkpoint for the ‘12 Peaks Trophy’ here.

With the right technique makes especially the sophisticated skiing more fun! As a certified ski instructor and longtime trainer these conditions are given on my part. The trainings are carried out in private groups. Optimal training ground and training times increase the success. Permanent video and motion analysis bring a noticeable increase in performance and driving pleasure. The systematic Fumble on the own limit is every time again a surprise!

Fun for the whole family is pre-programmed at the holiday highlight on the 1.6 km long summer toboggan run on the Biberg. Simply get in, activate the gear lever and off you go!
On the action-packed downhill run, you leave 345 metres in altitude, 61 curves and 3 super jumps behind you. Whether you want to be a speedy downhill runner or a leisurely pleasure tobogganer, you can easily set your own speed with the gear lever.

In addition to our hiking paradise in summer, the mountain world in the Hochkönig region also offers untouched nature in winter, over 85 km of groomed winter hiking trails, snowshoe trails and an enchanting winter landscape.

Discover the decelerating winter sport, which leads you through deep snow-covered forests and rustic ski huts, past breathtaking views, into the Salzburg Alps. The fresh mountain air not only revives your health but also provides for a romantic moment or two.
