Ski amadé from A to Z

The Radstadt/Altenmarkt ski area is an insider tip for skiers and toboggan fans in Ski amadé. On the small but very fine ski mountain, all 4 main lifts come together on the "Kemahdhöhe", the central point of the ski area.

Up here, in addition to the start of the 6km long Königslehen toboggan run and the popular photo motif mascot "Kinigl", there is also a sacred place with the Holy Family made of "Sölker marble" and a summit cross made of old lift parts. This place invites you to linger and relax with a magnificent view. 

From summer 2023, Austria's first swing park awaits you at Gabühel! Two spectacular waterfall swings, four more swings and a playground area with more than 600 m² invite you to linger.
The Gabühel cable car in Dienten and the Hochmais cable car in Hinterthal take you child-safe and comfortably to the swing paradise.

The Talwirt is located at the end of the Hüttschlag valley and is known for its regional specialties and homemade National Park ice cream. The Talwirt features a spooky Krampus mask exhibition and the "Mountain Forest" National Park exhibition on the first floor.

Biathlon is fascinating. Not only on TV, when the world's best athletes lap and try to turn the black targets into white, standing as well as lying down - but also to try it yourself. In Ramsau am Dachstein, there are several possibilities to approach the enthralling world of biathlon. The offers include laser guns, air guns and small calibre rifle, with which one can test his accuracy in the biathlon stadium. Snowshoe hike in the direction of Hirschgrubenalm in Hüttschlag.

From the Oberneureit farm in Hüttschlag, snowshoe uphill along the goods road or along a forest path towards the Hirschgrubenalm (not open in winter). The tour ends shortly before the Hirschgrubenalm due to a game reserve. The Hirschgrubenalm is located in a wide basin in a marvellous mountain landscape - back along the same route.

After the tour you can fortify yourself in the Aschaustüberl.
