The Bikecenter Reiteralm offers a wide range of bikes, helmets and protectors and other bike accessories are offered. 

The 7-kilometre-long natural toboggan run on the Hochwurzen, approx. 10 minutes by car from the centre of Schladming, is one of the longest toboggan runs in the Alps. It is just as inviting for tobogganing during the day as it is at night.

Toboggans can be brought along or hired directly on site. The Hochwurzen summit lift then takes you up to the Hochwurzen mountain station, where the tobogganing fun can begin.

Your creature comfort is our job for this evening. Enjoy specialities from the Schusterhäusl kitchen, pre-selected vines from Austria, Italy, Spain and overseas and local gallant schnaps.

During the day the Almbar is a popular ski chalet which is visited by skiers of the Faschinglifts. In the evening the Almbar converts into a fine restaurant with excellent food.

Every Thursday there is live music in the evening. The menu is extensive and sure to be something for every taste. On the wine list you will find the best Austrian wines.

Arthurhaus-Loipe: in 1.500m Höhe, Länge 3 km, leicht, Rundkurs.

Der Golfclub Gastein, einer der ältesten Clubs Österreichs, bietet 18 Spielbahnen in imposanter Bergkulisse. Die Golfanlage ist spektakulär und malerisch schön, mit einem einzigartigem Thermalwasserbrunnen für den perfekten Golfgenuss. Der Golfclub Gastein bemüht sich ganz besonders, neue Mitglieder für den Golfsport im Gasteinertal zu begeistern. Seit letztem Jahr wird speziell für Einsteiger eine Schnuppermitgliedschaft mit einem äußerst günstigen Einstiegspreis von 395 Euro eingeführt.

The Harbachhütte is located directly in the Grossarltal - Dorfgastein ski area at the valley stations of the Kreuzkogel lifts at approx. 1750m. You can enjoy delicious delicacies on the wonderful sun terrace with a view of the mountains or in the cozy parlor.

The Strassalm is located in between of the valley stations of 3 chairlifts: Sonntagskogel, Strassalm and Hirschkogel.

The owners place great value on the quality of the meals they are serving, cooking whenever possible with products from the house-own farm!

On brilliantly beautiful winter days, the small hut out on the terrace is also open.
You can then enjoy your break out there on the sundeck!

The LIVING ROOM snowpark is designed for snowboarders and freeskiers of all skill levels. Daily freshly spruced waiting here kickerline, Jibline and Rail Line on with thoughtful obstacles.

Snowshoe trail Dorfgastein between Grossarl and Dorfgastein

Ascent with the new Kieserlbahn to the mountain station at 1,954 metres. Once at the top, the first refreshment stop is the new WOLKE 7 summit restaurant with 360° panoramic terrace. The Snowshoe trail Dorfgastein leads to the Arltörl 1,797 m and on via the Heumoosalm (not serviced) to the middle station of the Fulseck summit lift. Take the cable car back up to the mountain station. Once at the top, the Hauserbauer Gipfelstadl invites you to take a cosy break. Take the winter hiking trail back to the Kieserlbahn mountain station.

In Grossarl and Hüttschlag you can go cross country skiing on 25 km of tracked trails. For the most part, the trails in our region are tracked for classic as well as “skating” technique.

In Grossarl as well as Hüttschlag, there are cross-country trails lit up after dark on certain days. The ca. 2 km-long night trail in Grossarl is at the Reitwiese, open to skiers Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 until 8:30 p.m. In Hüttschlag, there is a ca. 3 km-long floodlit trail next to the Aschaustüberl. This is available to all skiers on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 6 and 8:30 p.m.
