During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Schüttalm some special highlights. 

With 22 different courses, 200 stations and a climbing route of 2000 metres, our adventure park is the largest climbing park in Austria! The climbing stations in the difficulty levels purple, violet, green, yellow, blue, red and black are waiting to be conquered by you. A treetop path in the form of various courses awaits you on an area of 20,000 m². From the children's course from the age of 3 to the black courses, exciting climbing experiences for everyone await you. SafetyLine - the continuous safety system - a relaxed climbing experience for parents and children.

Who seduced whom here? Eve the Adam or the breathtaking panorama the pleasure woodpecker? Let's be honest. History should actually be rewritten. Because up here, 1000 meters above sea level, embedded in this unique mountain and hilly landscape, sin seems to have been born. Toque-awarded chef Andreas Döllerer has been working on his creative and regional cuisine alpine, which he has presented to sophisticated gourmets from near and far in his both menus and à la carte, since 2004. Inside the Genießerrestaurant, where alpine charm goes along neatly with mondial esprit. And on the green terrace with a view of the wine garden.

A world of alpine indulgence right outside opens up for up to 80 guests at Döllerer’s Genießerrestaurant. Every Tuesday to Friday from 7 to 9.30 pm and every Saturday from 12 am to 9.30 pm. The kitchen artists recharge their batteries on Sundays and Mondays. Döllerer’s gourmet cuisine is extended during the Salzburg Festival with cooking action from 12.30 pm until after the last Festival performance.
 
Two indulgence hikes await you in an upscale ambiance: Döllerer’s Gollüberquerung menu with nine courses and the Oberjoch menu with six courses. Choose from exquisite accompanying wines and non-alcoholic drinks after your fancy.

The regional roots, the personal style of the Schneider family and the structural conditions constitute a unique atmosphere in the Gasthof in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee. Our house, in the heart of Altenmarkt, is a typical tavern. For guests a place to get to know the country and its people and to experience warm hospitality. Savour regional specialities and international delicacies. Lovely, elegant dining areas and restaurant entice guests in to spend enjoyable hours here with us.

Mit dem Postbus, Skibus oder Auto geht es bis nach Hüttschlag und weiter in den malerischen Talschluss. Ruhe und Stille bestimmen hier am Eingang zum Nationalpark Hohe Tauern das Tempo. Am gemütlichsten geht´s mit der Pferdekutsche weiter (Anmeldung erforderlich) oder man spaziert zu Fuß die 2 km durch die tief verschneite Winterlandschaft vorbei an einem Wildgehege bis hin zum Ötzlsee. Zurück zum Parkplatz am selben Weg.
