Ski amadé from A to Z

Insgesamt 16 Skitouren, Steilabfahrten und Übergänge können von Ramsau am Dachstein bzw. ab der Bergstation der Dachstein Gletscherbahn befahren werden. Darunter auch Österreichs National-Skitour, die Dachsteinüberquerung nach Hallstatt. Diese Tour zählt zu den beliebtesten Touren in den Alpen und sind nicht allzu schwer. Auf einer 25 Kilometer langen Route von den Gipfelregionen des Dachsteins über die Simonyhütte und Gjaidalm führt die Tour hinab zum 2.000 m tiefer gelegenen Hallstätter See.

Im sportlichen Winterurlaub in der Salzburger Sportwelt haben das Auto und der Verkehrsstress Pause: Die Skibuslinien in Wagrain-Kleinarl bringen euch aus den einzelnen Ortsteilen direkt und bequem zu den vier Talstationen der Bergbahnen.  

Mit dem kostenlosen Skibus verliert ihr keine Zeit. Der Skibus Wagrain-Kleinarl bringt euch von eurer Unterkunft zu Talstationen im Skigebiet Flachau-Wagrain-St. Johann und zum Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl.

Für alle Gäste mit einem gültigen Skipass oder einer gültigen Salzburger Sportwelt Card ist der Service des Skibusses während des Aufenthalts kostenlos.

In der Hauptsaison verkehren die Busse zwischen den Talstationen Grafenbergbahn und Flying Mozart im 10 Minuten-Takt, in der Vor- und Nachsaison in Viertelstunden-Takt. Die Skibuslinie Grafenberg zur “Roten 8er” Gondelbahn fährt ca. alle 30 Minuten. Zwischen Wagrain und Kleinarl verkehren die Busse in der Hauptsaison ca. alle 15 Minuten, in der Nebensaison stündlich.

There are three lighted lanes. Our snow cannon ensures that the Railways are in top condition. At the "Rösteralm" there are snowtubes to borrow.

As you know, you have a fantastic view of the mountains of Schladming-Dachstein everywhere on the Planai – even from the toilet. At the Sky Toilets at the Märchenwiesenbahn you can enjoy a great view – depending on the season – over lush green mountain meadows or perfectly groomed ski slopes.

At the Gamskogel II mountain station at 2,106 metres, you are right in front of the impressively steep start slope of the Zauchensee World Cup course. The mascot ‘Zauchi’ is a popular photo motif, and with the photo point you can capture your holiday memories without anyone being missing from the picture! For lovers, there is a ‘love heart’ where you can immortalise yourself with a ‘love lock’. You will also find the Gamskogel checkpoint for the ‘12 Peaks Trophy’ here.

Skitouren gehen wird immer populärer. Nicht unbedingt im freien Gelände, sondern auch auf ganz normalen Skipisten. Aus diesem Grund gibt es in Gastein die so genannten Skitouren Abende. Jeweils Mittwoch und Freitag ist die Graukogelhütte, und jeden Donnerstag die Stubneralm bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Die Pistenpräparierung findet erst danach statt. Zusätzlich haben diese beiden Hütten auch in den Vollmondnächten geöffnet. Wer aber das Abenteuer sucht, dem raten wir, sich mit einem unserer best ausgebildetsten Skiführer in Verbindung zu setzen
