Find out about the most popular freeride routes on the mountain and the up-to-date avalanche risk at the freeride info point at the summit station of the Aberg gondola. With the help of the built-in avalanche beacon checker, you can make sure that your avalanche transceiver is working. Safety is thus guaranteed while you are out and about.

On our sunny terrace with a view of the Hohe Tauern, guests of all ages can enjoy the sun from morning to night. In culinary terms, we spoil you primarily with homemade delicacies. Starting with the classics like Bosna and Kasnock`n to Kaiserschmarrn, everyone is sure to find something with us.

Für Skifahrer und Snowboarder ist die Fahrt mit dem Skibus zu und von den Skistationen, zur Ausübung des Skisports, kostenlos. Eine kostenlose Beförderung von Gruppen gibt es nicht. With the start of the 2025/26 winter season, the family-owned company Sport & Modehaus Mandl from Gröbming will officially take over the ski rental at Galsterberg. The new takeover brings a breath of fresh air, modern equipment and the usual high quality of service to the popular family ski resort.

Mandl has many years of experience in winter sports and is known in the region for its professional ski service, high-quality rental equipment and personal advice.

‘Our goal is to offer guests a hassle-free and enjoyable rental experience with state-of-the-art equipment.’

With the takeover, the ski rental at Galsterberg will be comprehensively modernised. Guests can look forward to an extensive selection of rental skis, touring skis and snowboards for adults and children.

The rental equipment can be booked online or directly on site.
