Experience mountains and nature consciously. We have created for you in the mountain area some quiet Platzl with trendy as well as classic seating. With a dreamlike view you can relax at the Natur Platzl, Sonnen Platzl, Servus Platzl, Gamsjaga Platzl or Glockner Platzl.

The name of the region is written in capital letters on a wooden structure on the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein. The approximately 3-metre-high lettering not only serves as an eye-catcher and photo opportunity, but also as a place to sit on the mountain. In addition to the magnificent view, you can also capture your mountain experience without taking a selfie.

The Dachstein sky ladder offers pure thrills: twelve steps lead up to a glass platform from which you have a breathtaking view of the Dachstein. This experience is the perfect photo opportunity for lasting memories.

At 1,980 m above sea level, at the foot of the Grießenkareck, is the highest vantage point of Snow Space Salzburg. The view of the Hohe and Niedere Tauern mountains that opens up here is particularly impressive. Make the most of this moment before you happily continue down the slopes.

You can already enjoy an impressive view of the striking Bischofsmütze and the imposing Dachstein massif on the journey on the Papagenobahn. Once you reach the mountain station at an altitude of 1,600 metres, you are treated to a magnificent view of the majestic Bischofsmütze, a true landmark of the region. Invigorated by the power emanating from the queen of the Salzburg summit game, you can now enjoy the perfectly groomed slopes of filzmoos.ski to the full. Surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, the pistes not only offer sporting pleasure, but also unique relaxation for body and soul and culinary delights in the cosy ski huts. A marvellous mountain backdrop and great views to the Dachstein – the Kaiblingalm is probably one of the most beautiful spots of all Styrian ski resorts. Easy to reach by the Alm 6er chairlift, one of Austria’s most modern and comfortable chairlifts: it is detachable, equipped with orange protection covers (“bubbles”), and has heated leather seats. Its base station is at 1,600 m, taking you up to an elevation of 1,950 m.

An impressive 360° panorama with phenomenal views in all directions awaits you at the mountain station of the Tauernkarbahn cable car at 1,890 metres. Our mascot ‘Zauchi’ is looking forward to being photographed with you. The Tauernkar is the easternmost peak of the ‘12 Peaks Trophy’ between Alpendorf in Snow Space Salzburg and the Zauchensee ski paradise.
