Getting to Planai - Schladming

Getting here by car

If you are coming from the west, the easiest route is via the Munich-Salzburg motorway and then the Tauern motorway (A 10) to the Ennstal junction. From there, the Ennstal federal road (B 320) is only about 25 km to the Schladming-Dachstein region.

If you are coming from the east, take the route via Vienna (A 23) and the Southern Motorway (A 2), then continue via Semmering (S 6) to the St. Michael junction. From there, follow the Pyhrn motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction. On the Ennstal federal road (B 320), it is still around 50 km to the Schladming-Dachstein region.

If you are coming from the southeast, travel via the Pyhrn motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction and then drive about 50 km on the Ennstal federal road (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region.

For visitors arriving from the south, take the Tauern motorway (A 10) to the Ennstal junction. From there, the Ennstal federal road (B 320) is only about 25 km to the Schladming-Dachstein region.

Parking

Parking at Planet Planai
You can park your car close to the Planai valley station in either the Planai parking garage or our modern underground garage. A total of 1,000 free parking spaces are available. Owners of electric cars can also charge their vehicles at our charging stations for a fee.

Parking at Planai West
There are also enough parking spaces right by the gondola access at the Planai West valley station. On busy days, this parking option is a useful insider tip. From here, you can reach either the Planai or the Hochwurzen.
