For experienced skiers with good physical condition – the crossing of the Dachstein. This is a 25 km long route from the Dachstein top station via the Simonyhütte and Gjaidalm to the Dachstein Krippenstein ski area and down to Obertraun.
The return transport from Obertraun to Ramsau is organized with the Planai buses. More detailed information is available at: www.derdachstein.at
If you prefer something a little wilder, you can ski with a guide from the Dachstein glacier over the karst plateau to the Guttenberghaus and experience the most beautiful side of winter.
From the Guttenberghaus a steep descent leads through the Gruberkar down to Ramsau.
