A mountain with truly stunning views
The Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein is not only a legendary ski and sports mountain, but also a wonderful mountain for views: while the 140-meter suspension bridge, gently swaying in the wind, first drew attention, an attractive viewing platform with the fitting name “Glocknerblick” stands right opposite. It offers every visitor brave enough to come up here a fantastic view of Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner (3,798 m).
The mountain experience is rounded off by the Felsenweg, which extends the offer to another striking viewpoint. This scenic trail stretches over 100 m and leads to a natural plateau with wonderful views. A new highlight is being created this summer: the viewing platform “Talblick”, from which you can enjoy a dreamlike view of the beautiful Gastein Valley.
