Summer lifts
The Karbachalmbahn in Mühlbach takes you comfortably up to a family and summit experience. Right at the mountain station, Toni’s Almspielplatz, family-friendly hiking trails and an impressive view of the Hochkönig massif with the Mandlwände await. For even more variety, there is the 6.5-kilometre Mountaincart route back down into the valley.

A real highlight for families is Toni’s Almspielplatz at Hochkönig. Here, the mountain becomes a giant adventure playground: water and sand play areas for the little ones, climbing tower, slacklines & movement stations, alpine frisbee for playful action, relaxation and barbecue areas for quiet breaks, and the more than 2 km long marble run hiking trail.
Children can discover, play and let off steam here – while parents enjoy the mountain scenery. Boredom? You definitely won’t find it here.

Another highlight starts right at the mountain station: the Mountaincart route that takes you directly down into the valley
After a short introduction, the ride begins: 6.5 km route, 650 metres of elevation - pure action and driving fun
As you speed down into the valley, you enjoy one of the most beautiful views of Hochkönig – adrenaline and nature perfectly combined.
