    Family Run – Summer Edition

Our Family Run will also bring plenty of fun and joy this summer

We start at the Champion Shuttle mountain station on our newly created, child-friendly circular hiking trail.

Our 2.5 km trail leads you over eleven fun slides through the alpine meadows to the Lumberjack Bio Bergrestaurant. For the slides, we recommend using a "slide turbo", available at the ticket offices. From there, the trail goes back through the forest to the Champion Shuttle mountain station and the Gasthof Galler.

The low ropes and climbing areas turn the forest walk into an experience for young and old alike. This means the 100 metres of elevation gain can be tackled in a playful way.

    Let's go – also with a stroller

The newly created circular trail leads you from the Champion Shuttle mountain station across the green meadows of the Family Run to the Lumberjack Bio Bergrestaurant. From there, it continues through the forest back to the Champion Shuttle mountain station. Our circular hiking trail is designed so that it can easily be used with a stroller. The wide, flat path runs directly alongside the slides and climbing areas. This means the little ones can take a break or keep sleeping in the stroller, while the older siblings explore and climb the mountains and nature.

    Mountain bike tour for families

Starting at the Champion Shuttle mountain station, the mountain bike tour takes you along a varied forest trail beside the Ennskraxn ridge to the idyllic Jägersee. The gravel path follows a constant elevation for around 10 km towards the end of the valley in Kleinarl, where it drops briefly to the level of Jägersee. The clear mountain lake is a wonderful place for a break by the water. You return to the centre of Kleinarl via the 5 km cycle path along the Kleinarler Ache. The short climbs and gentle descents make the tour to Jägersee an ideal introductory tour for mountain bike beginners and children. The terrain is varied and safe.

Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented directly in Kleinarl from the bike rental at the climbing world.

    Stop at Lumberjack

At the Lumberjack Bio Bergrestaurant, you can take a break after a strenuous mountain or mountain bike tour, or stop here as a midway point on the Family Run – Summer Edition. Enjoy regional specialities, wander through the vegetable and herb garden that you can walk through and experience, and discover the farm animals at Lumberjack.

The breathtaking panorama and the cosy terrace invite you to linger, while you charge your e-bike at one of the 10 charging stations.

    PUMP TRAIL & PUMP TRACK

Right next to the Lumberjack Bio mountain restaurant, a brand-new pump track is ready for all bikers and skaters. On a total length of 44 metres, you can really let it rip through the banked turns and over the pumps.

Along the forest road to Kleinarl, we have also added further features for bikers and e-bikers in a total of six wide sections. All of this is easy to reach via the Champion Shuttle – and we are naturally happy to transport bikes. We are currently working on even more offers for bikes.
