    Wagrainis Grafenberg – the mountain experience for the whole family

    Grafenberg in Wagrain is the perfect excursion destination for families in Salzburg Province.

    The Grafenbergbahn takes you effortlessly up to 1,700 metres, and taking strollers along is also no problem in the 6-seater gondola lift.

    Once you reach the mountain, the Wagrainis Grafenberg nature and mountain adventure world with its more than 40 play stations awaits you

    Cross Grafenbergsee on one of the wooden rafts or over the suspension bridge, train your balance in the low ropes course, discover the spacious swing forest, let yourself be fascinated by the “Path of Fascination” and experience many more great adventures that make your family outing something truly special!

    The expansive plateau also invites you to stroll, hike and enjoy the surroundings. Rustic mountain huts and alpine inns around the Grafenbergbahn mountain station and along the varied hiking trails provide culinary delights.

    KUHbidu adventure trail

    The new highlight on Grafenberg

    A themed trail with numerous adventure stations all about the topic of “cows”. Here, questions such as “What does a cow eat?” and “Where does milk come from?” are answered in a playful way. Enter the correct answers in your KUHbidu puzzle pass and pick up a small surprise at the valley station of the Grafenbergbahn once you have solved all the puzzle tasks.

    TIP: KUHbidu Thursday
    Every Thursday, a child-friendly guided tour takes place along the themed trail, with lots of exciting background information about regional dairy farming. As a reward, a glass of delicious homemade buttermilk awaits at the end of the tour.
