12 Peaks Ski Region

The region is one of the most diverse winter sports destinations in Ski amadé. Perfectly groomed slopes, modern cable cars and numerous ski huts create ideal conditions for families as well as for ambitious skiers. Eight ski areas combine varied runs, freestyle facilities and impressive mountain panoramas to create a diverse winter experience.

Whether you enjoy carving turns, sporty descents or creative lines in the snow park, the region offers every winter sports enthusiast the perfect terrain. Modern cable cars take you comfortably to the ski areas, while wide pistes and varied slopes ensure a diverse skiing experience.

The region is part of Ski amadé and therefore part of one of Austria's greatest skiing paradises. With one ski pass, numerous opportunities are open to discover the region's wide variety of winter sports.

Travelling to the 12 Peaks Ski Region

Thanks to its location right next to the A10 Tauern motorway, guests can reach their destination in the 12 Peaks Ski Region quickly and comfortably.

A stress-free, eco-friendly journey by public transport is also available: via the railway stations in St. Johann im Pongau, Altenmarkt and Radstadt, and the free ski buses providing a direct link from the station to the valley stations of the ski region, a relaxed and hassle-free journey is possible even without a car.

Nature experience ski tour

Climbing under your own steam, fresh mountain air and the feeling of gaining height step by step – ski touring is more than just a sport; it’s a genuine experience of nature. On selected routes, you can enjoy the winter mountain landscape and impressive summit moments at your own pace. A particular highlight is the 5 Peaks Touring Trophy: ski touring enthusiasts can tackle five selected tours in Wagrain, St. Johann, Eben, Radstadt and Altenmarkt and record their achievements as part of a digital challenge.
