Restaurant Weitblick

Nassfeld 3, 5645 Bad Gastein

The Landgasthof Bertahof in Bad Hofgastein has been located amidst the old trees and in the heart of the Gastein Valley for over 350 years. This family-run and cozy restaurant has an extraordinary reputation! Enjoy and feel good: that is the maxim for Bertahof guests.

The Bertahof is listed in Gault Millau and has received the award "very good cuisine that offers more than the everyday" since 2009.

Above all, the lamb, mostly from our own breeding, or the fresh fish from our own pond, make a visit to the Bertahof a culinary experience. Chef Robert Granitzer only uses fresh, seasonal products from the region.

The culinary offer ranges from creatively prepared regional specialties to Mediterranean delicacies and international classics.

The Bertahof has been awarded the AMA gastro seal for the use of products from surrounding regions and from Austria.

Sublime moments await you at a height of 2,700 metres, when you find yourself embedded once more in the Hohe Tauern national park.
The Goldberg cable car will take you comfortably to the top. On reaching the top station, the famer's market entices you in, in the legendary glass-aluminium dome. An impressive natural wonder and fresh regional delicacies – the ingredients for the highest farmer's market in the Alps in Sportgastein.

Open during the winter season!

The Restaurant is located next to the mid station of Goldbergbahn.

Built in 2010 according to plans by Kuehn Malvezzi, it is located right next to the meadows where the horses of the Wetzlgut graze in summer, hence the name »Rossalm«. We fulfill our wish to cook “everyone’s favorite dish” with a fine selection of seasonal delicacies with regionally sustainably produced basic products.

In winter we serve Austrian delicacies for lunch. In the evening we will be happy to spoil you with a candle light dinner! The Rossalm is excellent with a fork in the Falstaff! And thanks to our guests, we have received the "Certificate of Excellence 2016" from TripAdvisor through numerous positive reviews. We would like to thank all guests who have made us this success!

Goldbergstub´n

Sportgastein Talstation, 5640 Bad Gastein

Enjoy the warm and cozy atmosphere of the rustic dining room at the Valeriehaus in Sportgastein. Liene and Otto treat you to local specialties and delicious, hearty favorites. Out on the sunniest terrace in Gastein valley (with loungers available for free), the imposing scenery of the Hohe Tauern reveals itself before you.

Empress Sisi, for example, to picnic the graciously deigned here. We do not know whether good old Rudolfshöhe made big eyes in May 2016 when we parked in front of its entrance with a bulging moving van and immediately began to convert it into our forest house.

We just know it's exactly what we've always wanted! We wanted to get out of Berlin and up into the mountains. We wanted to live our own idea of hospitality. And that in one of the most exciting places in the Alps: In Bad Gastein. Where the clocks go differently. Where some say: time has stood still here. And the others: Bad Gastein has always been way ahead of her.

We cook with a lot of heart and soul for our house guests. On request, we can serve you a three-course menu that changes daily. (External guests are welcome to call us until 12 noon on the desired day. Sometimes there are still places available.)

Die Goldbergstubn befindet sich an der Talstation der Goldbergbahn. Das gemütliche Ambiente der Hütte verleiht zum entspannen. Wer den Apres Ski mag, kann sich im Schirm so richtig austoben!
