The traditional restaurant "Kreistenalm" is located at the top station of the 6-men chairlift Gernkogelbahn, on the slope to the valley. The family run alpine hut offers traditional dishes with full service.

During the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week from 9th to 16th March 2024, we offer our guests in the Oberforsthof Alm special highlights. 
When you order an Austrian white wine, you will receive a bottle of Ski amadé wine free of charge. When you enjoy an Amadé gourmet platter, we will give you two glasses of Ski amadé wine as a special gift from the house. Enjoy the perfect combination of skiing fun and exquisite wine enjoyment in our alpine hut.

In the SternAlm you will be served in the best and friendly way. We rely on modern, home-style cuisine. It combines Austrian classics with current tastes. Regional suppliers, no finished products and real seasonality ensure your culinary #sternmoment.

Highlight of the SternAlm: the panorama winter garden with a view over the Salzach Valley – from the Kitzsteinhorn over the majestic Hochkönig to the Tennengebirge! How about an Aperol at sunset? A wonderful experience.

Are you up for some Après-Ski? Than come by after riding your last slope to the valley.

A nice day also includes a hearty stop and a feast for the palate! We value self-produced products, regional and tasty cuisine. Fresh, varied and rich – let our team spoil you with culinary delights!

Take a breather and enjoy the wonderful view with a good cup of coffee or warming cocoa. Our Salettl is the ideal place for a short break!

Comfortable hut for a snack along the way.

The Strassalm is located in between of the valley stations of 3 chairlifts: Sonntagskogel, Strassalm and Hirschkogel.

The owners place great value on the quality of the meals they are serving, cooking whenever possible with products from the house-own farm!

On brilliantly beautiful winter days, the small hut out on the terrace is also open.
You can then enjoy your break out there on the sundeck!
