YONGPYONG RESORT

"Koreas Ski-Mecca" since 1975

Located in a very habitable area 700 meters above sea level, Yongpyong Resort is situated on the eastern edge of Asia, about 200 km from Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

With an average annual snowfall of 250 cm per year, the area offers a beautiful setting in which to enjoy a variety of winter sports, including skiing, from mid-November to early April.

2018 Winter Olympics
Yongpyong also hosted the 2018 Alpine Skiing technical competitions.

28 ski slopes and 14 lifts

Up to 20,000 people a day can visit the ski resort with a total length of 29.1 kilometers of slopes.

Covering an area of 4,300 hectares, you'll also find a 45-hole golf course, first-class hotels, European-style condominiums and many other recreational facilities that can be enjoyed by the whole family. For an overview, click here.

Yongpyong Resort was established in 1975 as the first modern resort of its kind in South Korea. Now it is developing a new recreational culture that has been called
known as "Korea's Ski Mecca" and enjoys a growing reputation as an internationally recognized resort.
