The ski area Snow Space Salzburg with the towns of Flachau, Wagrain, and St. Johann, together with the Flachauwinkl/Zauchensee ski connection, is one of the five largest ski regions in Austria. It offers winter sports enthusiasts a wide variety of pistes, including two World Cup runs, modern cable car facilities, and internationally known freestyle and freeride spots. In Flachau in particular, guests can expect a winter holiday full of skiing enjoyment with cozy huts directly on the piste and legendary après-ski.

    Flachau, part of Ski amadé, impresses with perfectly groomed, wide slopes and state-of-the-art lift facilities. Together with Wagrain and St. Johann, the ski area offers over 210 kilometers of pistes, including the legendary Hermann Maier run. A special highlight is the 12 Peaks Trophy, where winter sports enthusiasts can explore all twelve peaks between St. Johann/Alpendorf and Zauchensee. Thanks to the ideal altitude and powerful snowmaking, perfect conditions are guaranteed – from the first run in the morning to night skiing under floodlights.

    Kidsrun Flachau – Little skiers master waves, obstacles, snow tunnels, and rings for playful skiing fun.
    Wagrainis Winter World – Magic carpet, tubing track, mini speed check, a beginner snowpark, and the Zwergenhaus for a short break make a ski day unforgettable for the little ones.
    Funslope Wagrain – An action-packed run combining boardercross and snowpark elements.
    Teufelsroute – A mystical forest trail with Krampuses, witches, and other legendary figures from the Pongau.

    Relaxed, sustainable, and free to the ski area: All winter sports enthusiasts with a valid ski pass can now travel free of charge by public transport from the entire state of Salzburg – including the trolleybus lines in the city of Salzburg.

    Wonderful winter holiday in Snow Space Salzburg

    Thanks to the Panorama Link cable car, the ski areas Snow Space Salzburg, Flachauwinkl, and Zauchensee are seamlessly connected. Winter sports enthusiasts therefore enjoy access to 12 peaks, 5 valleys, and a total of 210 kilometers of pistes. Anyone who manages to conquer all 12 peaks during their stay can look forward to a special surprise.

    In Flachau, four access points are available, and modern cable car facilities guarantee a fast, comfortable ascent. The high altitude and powerful snowmaking systems ensure excellent piste conditions – even in the shoulder and late season. In total, 70 state-of-the-art cable cars with comfort extras such as seat and back heating await guests, so long waiting times are a thing of the past.

    On the World Cup pistes in Flachau and Zauchensee, the elite of the women’s Ski World Cup competes every year. Freestylers and freeriders get their money’s worth in the Absolut Park in Flachauwinkl and the Snowpark Alpendorf. Thanks to the direct rail connection and the proximity to three motorway exits, the region is also easy to reach.

    Thanks to the Panorama Link connecting lift, Snow Space Salzburg and the neighboring ski areas Flachauwinkl and Zauchensee are directly linked. Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy 12 peaks, 5 valleys, and a total of 210 kilometers of pistes. Anyone who manages to conquer all 12 peaks during their ski holiday is rewarded with a special surprise before heading home.

    In Flachau, the 12 Peaks Tour starts at Spacejet 1.
