Kaliland at the Rittisberg
Kaliland is a large adventure area for snow-loving children. The child-friendly Kalilift takes little piste fans uphill. The lift staff supports children during their first attempts and helps them get on and off the lift safely.
Around the beginner slope, many playful features await: a giant Kali to ride through, a giant slide, a warm stone oven, mushroom houses, tipis and igloos. This makes learning how to brake and turn varied and fun. Adults who are skiing for the first time also find good conditions for their first turns in Kaliland thanks to the gentle gradient.
Ski fun and winter offers for families
Ramsau am Dachstein offers a wide range of winter sports for families. This includes 9 family-friendly ski lifts, children's ski schools, snow-covered pistes, Kaliland and adventure pistes for children. The longest fairy-tale descent at 4 kilometres also creates special skiing moments.
Beyond the classic slopes, a Zipfelbob track, winter welcome festivals and children's snow festivals add to the offer. This keeps the winter day varied, even when skiing is not the only thing on the programme.
Winter hiking to the summit cross and adventure huts
At the Rittisberg, a winter hiking trail to the summit cross and to the rustic adventure huts leads through the landscape. The Sonnenalm, Halseralm and Rosteralm welcome guests with regional specialities and warming stove fires.
The trail is ideal for anyone who wants to experience winter at a quieter pace. The accompanying route for winter hikers and snowshoe hikers leads through snowy forests and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountain world.
Night tobogganing at the Rittisberg
The Rittisberg offers a 3.5-kilometre natural toboggan run that is lit up at night. It is one of the region's attractive toboggan options in the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region and provides an energetic winter experience in the evening.
