The 10-seater gondola lift at Galsterberg
The 10-seater gondola lift combines comfort, short travel time and great views. The cabins are equipped with padded single seats and plenty of legroom. Large glass fronts provide a 360-degree panoramic view over the Schladming-Dachstein region.
The gondola can transport up to 1,200 people per hour up the mountain. This gets guests to the skiing faster. The stations blend well into the landscape with their shingle-style architecture.
Fun runs & permanent race course
Alongside Galstiland, three fun runs provide varied piste enjoyment. Pass playful figures, over exciting jumps and through plenty of snow obstacles.
The Little Gallier Park, the Bottelix Hinkelsteinbruch and the Roman Road VII are full of surprises. They add playful action to your ski day and are ideal for families who want to experience something special together.
On the 1.2-kilometre permanent race course, skiers and snowboarders can show their skills. The course is ideal for carving and is also suitable for clubs and groups looking for a training slope.
Winter hiking and snowshoe hiking
If you prefer a quieter winter experience, follow the winter hiking trail at Galsterberg. The route starts at the mountain station of the gondola and leads past the pumping station and reservoir lake. It then continues along a forest road to the photo point and returns to the mountain station.
The trail is also suitable for snowshoe hikers. This lets you experience the winter landscape away from the slopes at an easy pace.
Ski touring
Tour skiers are also welcome at Galsterberg. Two ascent options start directly at the valley station and lead via marked routes to the mountain station of the Vorderkar chairlift at just under 2,000 metres above sea level. On days with evening operations, ski touring at night is also allowed.
